saw Juno at Greenwich last night. I thought it was great 8/10 nicely done without too much sentiment- you kinda knew what was going to happen before it did. hubby called it a chick flick. Had my dd with me 11 & 16 and they both thought that it would be a good film to show in schools to illustrate that teen pregnancy isn't all hearts and flowers. liked it very much.
i was at greenwich juno last night too!
i thought it was a good film but i found the leading lady abit annoying! i think it was the over use of the 'teenage talk' lol!! showing my age!!
it did turn out to be surprisingly sweet at the end though. jennifer garner was very good too as the adopting woman.

Blimey, I got another request from Seefilmfirst to give feedback for Definitely, Maybe, this time in the detailed form of giving comments instead of just ticking boxes.
The little girl was portrayed as "I am cleverer than my Dad" when it came to his girlfriends ("She came back for you!" "Really?"), but it was a little unbelievable that she wouldn't know straight away who her Mum is from the story. We as the audience don't know much about those women, but a daughter would know a bit about her mother's life, her job, where she went to school etc., wouldn't she?
Btw, I have two spare tickets to give away for Definitely Maybe for Wednesday 6 February 6.30pm at Odeon Greenwich now.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Not true a daughter can only know what the mother tells her and there are mother that BS a lot in order to get respect from their daughters. So... BUT you might also have a point in there! Thanks to those who help us to win !0 -

It wasn't that busy at greenwich last night- not like when we went to see sweeny todd!!!!. Its not my normal cinema usually at Thurrock but I like it a lot- staff are very laid back. let us in quite early as well so no hustle & bustle for the seats. alas I am back to Thurrock for my next flicks- bucket list & darling kids going to see definetly maybe- not my bag as the guy in it irritates the hell out of me!!!!:mad:Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."

yes i like greenwich odeon alot but it isnt my normal either
i go to bexleyheath cineworld using an unlimited card - bit of a small, rubbish cinema (but its cheap lol)
so it is nice to occasionally go to greenwich with the free ticket offers0 -
The Odeon Greenwich is my second favourite cinema for free previews, my favourite is the Vue Greenwich though in The O2. I have only been once but my that screen was wonderful! Huge, ample legroom, rows going up really high. Can't wait to go there again for The Bucket List.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

not been to the 02 cinema- lots of people have said its nice. Thurrock vue is great cos it hasn't long been modernised- but the odeon is not great- occassionally at bluewater for the insider shows as well- will be there saturday for the ugly duckling flick.Duct tape is like the force.
