    Hi guys
its gone really chilly here now. Our heating still isn’t on yet though, as soon as the oven goes on it will be toasty again. I’ve a nice selection of knitted and crocheted throws if needed.
Tea will be fish, chips and peas tonight. Simple but yummy.
Todays spend was a coffee with a friend. The sun was shining so it wasn’t too chilly sat outside. There’s  a rumour about our area moving into the very high category so we might not be able to meet for a while.
I’ve a couple of days off now so I’ll probably do some baking and plod on with my sons scarf. Life’s not overly exciting at the moment, but that’s probably for the best.

    Hi guys
Today hasn’t been exactly exciting. Today was a day off. My weekly shop arrived so we’re nicely stocked up again with a few bits put away for Christmas.
I’ve spent most of the day watching the news to see whether we are moving up to tier 3. Nothing so far.
Part of me feels we need to move up but the other part of me dreads where that will lead with both mine and OHs work.
This is why I need to keep well stocked cupboards. If push comes to shove we can manage with only buying fresh stuff for a few weeks which will give us breathing space. Also Xmas, I want the presents and the food I can buy early done and then I can relax.

We have been buying a bit extra with each home shopping delivery to make sure we are stocked up as well. Nothing too overboard, definitely not panic buying, just the odd bit extra here and there.

We have most of Christmas day food bought already. Will just be the fresh veg from the farm shop that we need to get nearer the time.

We have been buying Christmas presents for the last few months now. I have got most of them bought and wrapped already. Just got a few more bits to get in the next week or so and then we are pretty much done.

Don't know what sort of Christmas we will be having this year but we still want to give gifts to the family.

    Hi guys
I’ve not even been out of the house today but feel shattered. I had a nap this afternoon working on the theory of that what my body needs.
We go into Tier 3 at midnight so it will be interesting to see how busy work is tomorrow. No matter what we’ve no choice but to manage.
The only thing I’ve achieved today is my DSs scarf is growing nicely.

    Hi guys
Today was quite busy at work, with quite a few tourists still around. It’s funny how when the government has been putting areas in lockdown people behave for a while so most have had masks on but there’s still a lot that just don’t seem to manage to keep their distance. I may be getting jaded but feel it’s only a matter of days until the masks start being put in pockets or worn around the chin again. I can’t afford to give up my job, I’d never get another at my age.
On the up side Strickly Come Dancing started tonight. I love all the glitter and sequins. We used to take turns visiting friends to watch it but just talked about it on WhatsApp. It’s funny how soon this sort of thing has been second nature.

I also live in a tourist area as well but things aren't quite as bad now as they were in the summer.  Then we couldn't even go for a walk on the beach because there was on chance of social distancing so our exercise became more difficult and instead of just walking to the beach we had to drive somewhere else to walk.  Masks are generally worn in shops but there are still those who don't bother, wear them under their nose or round their chins and certainly no idea about keeping their distance - drives DH and I up the wall!

    Hi guys
I’m nicely relaxed after cottage pie and then mince pies for afters. It’s Bake off night so I can snuggle up on the sofa and not need to think about work tomorrow. I’m off for 2 days now. Tomorrow I need to go into town to collect some Xmas presents I’ve ordered but I doubt I’ll bother with my normal coffee and cake. I’m fed up with people in general at the moment, it’s no wonder the country is in such a state when people refuse to follow simple rules.
    Anyway enough of that
    Keep well everyone
