Morning all,
Thank you for the lists and apologies for being awol at the weekend. We had a weekend away and I had lots of time to think, walk and ponder things. My MH is struggling at the moment, C19 has changed my work so much it is no longer enjoyable for me and I am worrying about it all the time. I know this is much the same for many many people, and I am lucky to have a job, I just feel myself slipping into a negative mindset again, I'm snappy with my children, obsessively checking my emails with a sense of dread and working shorter days isn't helping as I just check things at home all the time. To be honest I think I would be happier working in Aldi at the moment, I have registered my interest in the local branch. I cannot go on as I am. Moan over 🙂
The house is pretty tidy, it's bin day tomorrow so that's a job for after work to get it filled up. It's my birthday tomorrow so will make sure I have something nice in for my tea.Take care all, have lovely days xx9 -

Good afternoon!
Thanks for the lists. I should be able manage level 1 today 😂
I couldn't get to sleep last night again, so consequently slept in late - again! I think (I know!) that I need a new bed as mine is making my back hurt 😥
Moving on! I am continuing with my sorting of stuff. I have sorted and emptied the 3rd box. I found some notes written by some school friends hidden in a book from nearly 40 years ago! They made me smile, and I posted a pic on FB and tagged the friends in, so I think I made them smile too. They are now on the ever-growing shredding pile! I have glued the castor back onto the bottom box. When it is dry I am going to put my craft stuff in them.
I also found some pieces of jigsaw in a carrier bag, so decided to put them together to see if any bits were missing (probably about 100 pieces)
I think there are few bits missing! 🤔😂
I sent DH to the loft, and we have found the rest (yay!) We have also found a child's ik€@ table in a box that is not needed, and some other bits can leave the house either via the bin or CS. It hasn't made much of a dent, but it's a start! 2 old duvets have been binned.
Soup has been made & eaten, WM x2 - 1 on the line. Poo has been picked up by DH. The grass is very wet, and something has been digging for grubs! 🦊
I am going to pop to the CS & the diy store. I need some paint colour charts in autumn colours for the children's activities this week. The table is being picked up by a friend this afternoon 👍
Hugs to those that need them, esp ASB. Hang on in there!

I've got one eye on the weather as it's come over very dark and I've got a full line of semi-dry washing out there.
Mr M has been and the delivery has been put away - and a refund requested for the missing 3L of orange juice. Ordered 4 x 1L received 1 x 1L. I gave GF a lift to the PO and bought birthday cards for next month whilst I was there. I've created two playlists on my AleX@ -one for dancing to and one for relaxing to, so now when I hear a song I love on shuffle I can add it to the appropriate list - it's like build-your-own-CD lol. I've also created folders on my email and started wading through my Inbox - reduced from 340+ to 220+, so still a way to go yet, but every little helps
I will be organised. I will be organised. (Anyone seen my ruby slippers?)
Hugs to all

GI.. you have my flinging bug!!! lolbathroom cabinet emptied and at the top of the stairs waiting for male offsprung to bring it down.
Bag of educational games dropped at school.. mine are too old for them or they have too many bits and will end up in the bin if I keep them here.
I found a box of skirting on the landing.. I don't know... I just don't!!.. so they can bring that down to go in the shed.
Request for quotes sent out.. I have 6 things I MUST get done asap.. drylining/skimming 2 walls in Moomins room, repointing the back of the house, a new back door, carpet fitting on the stairs.. (2 people ignored my messages so far) and some bathroom tiling. Oooh.. must ask plastery dude about kitchen ceiling too. Oh.. and a damp proofing in the chimney breast in the back room. Yes, my house is falling down about my ears!
I want to look at external insulation for the back of the house at least.. it is FREEZING.

Finally sat down with a cuppa after another frenetic day. I'm running on caffeine most days now!
Despite my best efforts, there is straw all over the kitchen floor following a sneaky bin-raid by two dogs, a stack of cardboard that I can't cram into the already overflowing recycling bin, a pile of ironed bedlinen still waiting to be put into the linen drawers upstairs and a stack of chicken water dispensers to be scrubbed...
It can wait. My mum has been told she has stage 4 lung cancer and most likely won't be here for Christmas. 2020 has been an utterly awful year for me.8 -
Oh Dizzy my lovely.. that is truly horrible.. yep.. all of that can wait...
sending you the biggest hugs and quality of life and longevity vibes for your mum so she can be with you to make those christmas memories.. Go with the emotion.. you don't have to be 'strong' or 'brave'.. you can absolutely scream and shout and howl at the moon!

Evening my lovely ones. I'm not going to be flying much this week, but I will be posting daily lists.
On top of everything else I have now gone down with food poisoning 😫 I know where it came from too, I stupidly ate a couple of very small pork pies, yesterday, 2 days over there use by date. I was up the very early hours of this morning trying to get some sleep, not be sick and drink fluids. Today I have spent all day either asleep on the sofa or in bed. I'm now wrapped up in my.gorgeous new dressing gown, that couldn't have come at a better time, and in bed with water and a cup of tea.
In between nausea, shaking as I'm cold 🥶, goosebumps and wanting to go to sleep I can't believe it.
I even managed to get a priority Tesco's shop today as I wasn't going out shopping. So now we have cupboards and a fridge full and I don't want anything..🤢
I think I'll try again next week..and write these past three weeks off..
