Light covering of snow revealed itself as the dark is lifting 🌨️Same here, but it was raining when I went down to let the hens out. They were still deciding whether to walk on it when I left!It was a good hard frost again before the snow, which is good, because I've only recently planted some seeds which need cold to get them going.

Snowing first thing, not settling and has now stopped leaving a dull, grey & damp morning, one for being indoors and doing not a lot

I shall carry on making trellis for light relief. Only 4 more panels to go!Snapped one of the robins from the kitchen a few minutes ago. Somewhat threatening sky....5

Started snowing here at about a quarter past eight this morning and I took this during my morning walk.

Both lovely pics 😊. Snow has gone here, mainly melted and washed away by the rain. Not looking forward to tomorrow if all that rain is set to freeze (predicted -4). Pretty while it lasted.Just my opinion, no offence 🐈3

The snow finally made it here on Sunday, 11.5cm. It wasn't forecast and fell all day so no gritting. I saw a couple of walkers but no one will drive down here. Friends tell me the 'main road' is quite too. Beautiful this morning with the snow still on the branches and sun across the fields. I'm well stocked up and nice and warm.
Not sure about what health and safety would think but mum, 88, wanted to 'play' in the snow - and so did I! We built a snow man and I made a snow angel. I stopped mum doing a snow angel, there are limits, she may not have got up again! Instead we threw snowballs onto the frozen water. This brought a few birds so we threw corn and scraps. A fun day!Love living in a village in the country side6 -
That does sound like a "fun day" IMW, snow turns a lot into big kids remembering childhood days. The snow we had never settled here which may be just as well because this morning is hard frost blue skies & sunny, a good day for a well wrapped up walk, but I'll pass with my wobbles & possible iceEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens3

Lovely this morning, but I will leave it an hour or two before going outdoors.
The trellis is coming along nicely, but two of the posts have warped, so although I made the gaps standard sizes, I'll need to make two custom panels or they won't go in.

All change here to lovely sunny day. I took this photo of the Persian Ironwood buds above the snowdrops, crocuses and a few very early pale blue miniature irises. Saw thrushes, blackbirds and a pair of robins too.
