Guess who was a day early for the dentist! I'm not fit to be let out, really I'm not. Still no rain though, so there's that.
Good luck with your MOT Dusty, and good luck 2p with the gas/leccy/water boards :fingerscrossed:
They're nice orchids wort. Are they fragrant or just pretty..?
And never mind 'nice cat pictures', there's a sharp lack of dog photos on this thread!I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.5 -
YBE no fragrance sadly but make me smile whilst cleaning my teeth.
The BIG sheep @Dustyevsky, we went there as a big family group over 20 years ago not many others there and we ran amok in the play area thinking we were on the Gladiator programme. Laughed like nothing on earth ,even now just the name can set us off for ages reminiscing.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.5 -

Just caught up with the latest, some lovely pics there + gull bum
. I heard that about mossy roof as well, best left where it is, and of course sign of clean air which is good for promoting blackspot on roses. Just can't win sometimes
Early start, up to Morries on daff bulb hunt, none left, all gone, but came home with a honeysuckle instead
, £2.39 cheap enough to have a go. Honeysuckle does like it around here, so should be OK
Checked the passion flower I bought the other week, snails have had a feast on it, time for the Blue Sweets
The dahlia seeds I was saving, one seed pod thing has turned soggy & limp, snigger, so I've got it indoors drying out, or rotting off. The other one is still firm to the touchContinuing the animal theme, here's a sunny snail on a fennel seed head, taken this morning at the volunteer border, plus a bit of cobweb and rain drops for added Autumnal beige atmosphereEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens8 -
I reckon they're pretty enough to not need fragrance wort
Thanks for that Less, great picture! Dogs willing stuff out of trees would be a lovely thread on it's own imo. Or back up out of rabbit holes ha haa!
You take such good pics Farway. I wonder how that snail even got up there...
I got a honeysuckle and a clematis a wee while ago from Morries. The clematis is happier than the honeysuckle (I took a photo of the other day in the sun, I'll have to put it up) whereas I think the honeysuckle is contemplating suicide. Only contemplating at the minute, mind. But clematis is was flowering
Raining here now. My god is it raining!I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.5 -
I've actually just risked some more laundry out (my heap is roughly the size and shape of an entire person currently!) and it's clear atm.
The Tusky app is threatening a sprinkle from 4... but my hope is even a couple of hours hanging will help when it comes to finishing it inside.
I've put the heating on low for the first time this year (only on 15 so far) but not so much because it's cold as the air just feels a little damp iykwim?I'm not an early bird or a night owl; I’m some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.3 -

Could that Fuchsia be Hawkshead? (White flowers) I have a couple dotted around the garden and they always look lovely against a dark background like yew. (I was told that they were delicate but I haven't had any problems although I mulch around them for the winter.) Hope that helps.:)The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.

I couldn’t resist the last one 😈 I think it was a gull’s backside... 😁3
