Another one nipping in before the upgrade.

I couldn’t see the Solomon’s Seal, Dusty, or was that your point?!

Welcome Gorsebush, I’m another one who loves gorse. We had a brilliant year for it this year - it was everywhere.

I’m envious of your goosegogs and blackberries, Farway. Yum 😋

So glad you’ve finally had a good downpour, twopenny.

More thundery showers forecast here today - they’ve been forecast on and off for at least two weeks but I’ve yet to hear a rumble in that time...

In front of the persicaria, just stems, best seen in a new tab, as picture will expand.

On the up side I've managed to get the indoor orchids to rebloom :) So chuffed though they've been in a tray in the living room which has made it smell slightly musty.
    Can't have everything........

Another little joy is the white hydranga has gone a beautiful delicate pink with the drought

and the old roses smell beautiful even if they don't last long - Blush Noisette. Evergreen and blooms through the year.
There's always an up-side..The trick is seeing it, but you're good at that. o:)
For us, the up-side this morning was the rain holding off long enough to get a border re-vamped. Having Mrs Dusty back, directing things in the garden, is another plus for me. I'm not much of a designer! :/

Back again, just checking after upgrade, and some rain arrived but not enough to do any good
Good orchid news 2P, not a plant I've grown, but I can admire them
    Emoji test :/
    No new ones :(
