😁😁
Just watched the weather for today with Carol Kirkwood and she reckons after a bit of a rainy start then the rest of today will be dry 👍. I'll sue her if she's wrong 😼
Plan for today is pottering about in the borders, many weeds have taken hold so they need sorting.Just my opinion, no offence 🐈0 -
Something has gone drastically wrong!
Sitting between the moors, we often escape the rain, but we've not had a totally dry day in over a week now. I did manage to have a bonfire and a photoshoot for eBay yesterday, but we ended up confined in the polytunnel again by 4pm.
Today? Well, today is fish & chips. This week I hope not to share the shop with a non-mask-wearing, drunken, swearing dwarf, but it's Kirton, so who knows!
Edit: Don't try to find Kirton on the map. Tis Deb'n talk.2 -
And it's back to normal for the week, pouring down & very windy, IOW Hovercraft suspended tells you all you need to knowZero outside today except a wheelie bin dash if it eases a bitEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

Just pulled lots of weeds and lots of "tiny weeds" in the gravel around the herb troughs. Not sure which one has flung them out but I have my eye on them! I only have a handful growing, mint, curry plant, thyme, rosemary, chives (might not be classed as herbs but I've stuck some in between) and a couple others which I forget the names of just now. Rain is back so I'm back on the sofa watching the newsJust my opinion, no offence 🐈1 -

Bojo will probably cancel Christmas this year. I read somewhere reliable, like The Star, there's a Christmas pudding shortage already, caused by panic buying. Well, not in this house, as we always have a couple kicking about from previous years.Regardless, Chris Whittless will probably say Christmas puddings are bad for you and next to useless in a pandemic, then produce a chart showing more people are hospitalised after consuming puddings than those who just eat regular seasonal food, like kale.In the village yesterday a group of us were counting all the folk who had died this year. We came to the conclusion it had been on the cards for most of them for years; either that or dementia. Then we realised most of us were over 70, so we hurriedly talked about something else!Looks like another 'Curate's egg' day today. I didn't realise curates laid eggs, especially the male ones, but ours is definitely female here, which is more than I can say for 2 of the 3 Rhode Island Reds we raised......Someone mention Christmas? My memory isn't what it was.5
