Do you want to get me into trouble? I can do that myself!
Will look into it.
Up early and we've had good, steady rain. Looking at the thunder & lightning app, I think Farway has probably woken early too!Bang on [literary Bang] at 0530, a window rattling crash of thunder on my rooftop, and then it came down at last, filled the bird bath, so the ground must have got a good drenching.Felt rood fixers /builders are on top of neighbours porch right now, so no silver lining for the neighbours this morningMy silver lining, watering not required today and ground should be soft enough to enable planting my Helen blackberry into the ground soonI expect the rain has started rotting the few cherries I had, I'll check later once the world dries out a bit, and my strawberries at the same time, high hopes this year, but rain brings out the slugs of courseDusty, top tip ref flavoured water @ £2.80. We diverted into Morries [other supermarkets are available] on the way to Wisley and bought one of the meal deal type offers, with my disloyalty card it was £3.50 for sarnie, bag of crisps & bottled drink. Only did this because of poor choices & costs at RHS, fed up with no sarnies and pound a packet crisps.Greenhouses, pah try this one, Wisley yesterday of courseOnce inside, there's a pondAnd some cactusAnd flowersEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens9 -

Edit because you can't even say p o r n now ?!I'd also advise against referring to history. For example, the Peasants Revolt of 1381 is far too recent to risk. There might be a lot of LGBTIQAP+ in vogue at the moment, but the P doesn't stand for 'Peasant!' You see, those peasants were an intolerant lot, full of conspiracy nonsense about being subjugated by the rich, and violent with it:Your greenhouse wouldn't have stood a chance with this lot rampaging through the neighbourhood. Why am I mentioning this? Well, it could be a distraction, because Farway now has the ability to trump everything I post about Rosemoor now.He even has a Morries en route to Wisley, whereas all I have is a garage where the fuel is about £1.76 / litre and the only meal deal is crisps! Or it might be something else...
Anyway, Rosemoor, ( OT, now in warm sunshine mixed with fluffy cumulus cloud ) has a national collection of irises, and here's one I particularly liked:

Oh, I love that iris Dusty, I've recently found out I quite like irises and can appreciate them more, possibly because they are no longer just purple plants?Talking about top Trumps, you mentioned candelabra Primula the other day, there were loads on display at Wisley, but I never took a pic, very eye catching en masse. I never had much luck with growing them when I triedPeasants' Revolt, ended in tears, of course. I became an instant expert because I was the only person who knew the answer in pub quiz, who was Wat Tyler?A bit of sculpture now, from Wisley of courseLady hare & dog, plus horses head with no mafia links, worth a mint because it's made out of beaten leadHere's hoping naked lady hare is not bestial pronHumans left in for scaleEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens6

I like an arty garden, the horses head particularly
Taken me ages to find this (there must be a trick to the search function that I don't know...)
Greenhouse. Well, whole house actually - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/79933022#Comment_79933022

Bucket swap tetris started again this moring at six because although I got the waterbutt, I didn't have the right hose to connect it to the greenhouse, however, after empting during downpors, it's nearly full, huzzah.Love the horse sculpture, not reallt a fan of the other just because it reminds me of Donnie DarkoAnd they're going to have to change that acronym soon, it's a bit of a mouthful..Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi4

Woohoo for sorting your water butts taff
And agree they are Donnie Darko-ish….
Todays haul - a few from Lidl, a couple from B+M.Also, my autumn-is-here plant has given it up! Either from heat or the rain I don’t know. I didn’t plant it, it just appeared so *shrug*I oppose genocide. I support freedom of speech. I support freedom of assembly.4 -
Finally caught up!!
I love all of the photos, especially Wisley meadow and the pic Dusty posted a while back of a garden and some huge plant he was envious of - I would love a garden like that.
Tomato news and I have two cherry tomato sized toms, two cherry sized toms and two marrowfat pea sized toms on my single plant - they seem to like growing in twos 🍅🍅 Very happy and looking forward to cheese and tomato on toast when they’re ready to eat 😋
My peppers are still growing... slowly. I have 10 now because another one snuck up in one of the pots 🌱
According to the BBC it should be thundery showers here... it’s not... it’s scorchio, just not as scorchio as last week when it was 30 degrees at work 🥵'A watched potato will never chit'...5 -
Speaking of peasants…
