Wow rain, rain, rain here with no sign of letting up!  It's pretty windy and more is forecast later 😾

Yes I can see you lot are getting it while we're in a drier patch, but it will arrive here before lunchtime and promises to go on for about 12 hours. Having seen the rivers yesterday, there could be some flooding. :o
Managed to do a good-sized shop yesterday, so I'll have a look at the sheep and then batten-down the hatches.....

I'm due BC2 & Dave's rain later, the wind is already here
Nothing much planned garden related but I may just nip outside to check and put the bean canes into the shed for winter at last
Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens
  • Hope it doesn't get too bad for you guys, still wet and windy here 🙄

I don't want to sound too 'Blair Witch' here but I was wondering if the stringy branches that are shed by the Silver Birch trees can be used for anything creative.  I have collected a pile of them and am tempted to make them into little figures lol

Regards the Schitzostylis, we have deep pink/red; lots of green this year, not a lot of colour. They weren't too crowded, but have still thinned and spread them around a bit.
What was anybody else's results this season..._
Mine seem to go from strength to strength, the patch spreads rapidly and flowers appear all year round !!!
I thought they did well in the last house but here they're rampant 😍🌺

...you didn't mention the dark!  Yesterday was a bright, clear day, but even so, the sun had disappeared over the western horizon by 3.15 here.  With today being wet and heavy cloud, I was tempted to have a "sundowner" with lunch!

Here, it seems a fairly normal winter thus far; a bit on the mild side, but that often changes after New Year. Back in 2012 this was one of our roads to civilisation on 22nd December.....

Needless to say, we chose another one! :D
