Mrs D has her own problems I'm afraid, which is why I have a friend to walk with these days, but it's not walking weather this morning. And while I seem to be fine, my 'puter isn't, so if I suddenly disappear, it's just a technical glitch.

After a sunny, dry day spent raking yet more leaves, the rain is back with a vengeance.  Not much to look at in the garden at present but I do have violas in flower and a very brave Hesperantha with pretty pink flowers. It has defied the persistent rain and several frosts, a cheerful little plant.

Sometimes I can't stop myself being mischievous, like on the 'pigeon' thread where I advocated trapping them and making a pie, but mostly I am well-behaved.

I used to have an AI, but he got banned because a snowflake took exception to him. MSE wagged a finger at me. He was only a bit rude, in a Carry On film sort of way, but of course that's exactly what pushes some 'woke' people's buttons!

Edit: Hesperantha......that's what some of us call schizostylis isn't it? .....if we've got out teeth in!

Dull out, with downpours on the way once they've dumped a lot of it on Dave

Checked my recent seed delivery, all good, I'd forgotten I ordered yet more toms, despite having decided I was sticking with what I had, my new untried ones are

Cherry Falls which I'll try as replacement for my Balcony  type, and Ship Saint [F1], just because it was on £1 offer & not 10 seeds for £2.99  so worth a try

Oh dear, I sometimes post Carry On style comments, but Kenneth Williams said when he saw an innuendo in a script he just whipped it out

My character always referred to 'Matron' at the end of his posts and included a double entedre. Considering I failed French oral, that was quite an achievement.
