The much-vaunted new text editor appears to have arrived, along with a bunch of new smileys…. 😁🎻🎪🚻☢️🇬🇧🐘 Maybe it's messing with your Kindle, 2p?

It was a sunny and fairly warm day here. I hoovered, mowed and brush-cut, much as predicted. The wood stove was also cleaned and decommissioned, yesterday being 1st May. Now it's summer here. The cats don't know, so they keep telling me it's time to light up! 🐱

😮 Well, really, I can see this one being withdrawn fairly soon! ….✌️

2p I can see your two posts, if that's what your test was about?

Not loving the new text editor. I liked having the bold and italic and strike buttons to hand. Also when I click on the smiley at the bottom left there, I just get a grid of grey/green squares. Manual smileys and nothing fancy it is then :(

Quite a nice dawn here - another still, calm morning. Colder than yesterday morning tho, I could almost see my breath in the conservartory when I opened the blinds!

I came over all Elf+Safety yesterday. Very worried about the state of my fence, just at the corner where next door's rose is growing. I thought it might get very big very fast and push my fence down…. turns out (after repeatedly pointing it out) that himself is worried about it too. So he took a few sticks off it, for Elf+Safety. I watched a couple of vids and realised they could be planted, and there's a 50/50 shot they could turn into new roses! Imagine my surprise! I did what Monty Don did done, and they're in pots in a bucket in my connie, looking very sorry for themselves. I left a couple of leaves on the tops of some, and the other are just sticks. I wonder if i should have put some in just water, rather than the gravel and soil combo. Ah we'll see.

Still no sign of Mrs Blacky. And I envy you your hedgehogs 2p, 'presents' and all :D

I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.

San Marzano took a long time to ripen for me, but YMMV, Blue Eyes.🍅

Nice morning again, but the cider drinkers are predicting that cool easterly that will hold temperatures down.

We hope to collect the final finishing touches for the crown today, namely the purple cloth. Otherwise, our version will be unique for sporting chicken wire. A bit scratchy! 😆

P.S Since we are on oranges, the ones in the background taste awful!

So just logged onto my laptop again instead of going for a walk by the sea. So I could post on the new text thread that I can't use my kindle for posting at all.
That's why you can see these posts Blue. Glad you're enjoying your new hobby. It's one that gives back to you when you can sit in your garden :-))

So I'll keep reading but with warm summer evenings coming working on my laptop is going to be the last thing on my mind.

Weeded my deceased neighbours front garden yesterday :-( Lots of self seeded Anemone Blanda and Primroses and Cyclamen so I'll try and go over with a pot of soil and pot them for the charity plant stalls.

We've had a few lovely sunny warm days even to hot at times plus deep sea mist so a mix of March/April happening in May.
Just not being cold does it for me!

Think it's working on the car and garage day today - but life seems to have it's own agenda.

https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/80028925#Comment_80028925Dave, that looks like calamondin to me. The green fruit are used instead of limes in cooking. The orange one are over-ripe but the colour sells the plants.

    Check out James Wong.

Can't work out partial quoting. 🤔

Yes, cars and life combine to change agendas. At 06.00 today, my SiL found his cam belt about to shred itself, and since he's due in Amsterdam by tea time, that wasn't a welcome discovery! So, my car's probably near Gatwick by now. 😯 It will sit in one of those airport parking places for about 5 days. 😕

Nice sunny morning, could this be the day I get into the garden 🌼?

YBE, remember top tip post squeezing pips out of tomatoes, write what type they are on the tissue, you'll be glad you did next April 🍅

Found the new emoji picker, still fumbling around the rest of the layout

YBE, I do hope your roses "take" to further entice you into the gardening world, it won't be long before twigs start breaking off & sticking to your clothing

I think I may have posted this before, but here's the rose grown from cutting off next door's one before she moved and the donor was chucked out by new owner

Like yours, just poked in, some died, but these made it. Photo from March, it has more growth now & I'm hoping flower later
