Hi there,

After some discussion I discovered that there were quite a few MSE compers feeling similarly to me about how things have been 'progressing' since the major forum changes, back in February-ish.

So yesterday I launched what I hope is a friendly and respectful petition about our issues in Compers Chat Corner. I did this in order to try to help to resolve an ongoing problem, not at all intending to stir up trouble for you or anyone. My hope is that we can all work together to make things better.

61 people, so far, have signed - in under 24 hours.

Good morning, team MSE,

More MSErs have signed the petition. It seems that lots of us here are unhappy with the changes and are very much hoping that you will let us know ASAP that you plan to resolve this for us, or failing that to let us know that you can't/won't, so that we can make an informed choice as to whether to start over elsewhere or not.

There has also been some discussion about us or you setting up a dedicated forum elsewhere, along the lines of the old MSE format. I wonder if the best way forward might be if you would be kind enough to have your experts do this for us? In that way, we could be seperate from MSE, so hopefully able to use the old format, and yet still affiliated with MSE.

I am sure that if you did this for us, you would make a lot of unhappy compers happy again, and we would still have that "Money Saving Expert" link, which would be really good.

I know you're not asking us mere forumites, but I'll answer anyway .... not a chance of that happening. MSE can't even get this forum "upgrade" working properly - you really think they'll divert technical time to help setup another forum just for the compers?
