Perhaps they just gave all their money away in the two weeks that they did not have any internet forum stuff to do.ontheroad1970 said:before they were banned again, they were an aspiring philanthropist. Must have gone a philanthropy crash course.
I suspect we will see a thread from them shortly about how to buy a used car, ideally a model that combines the comfort of an S-Class, space of a Range Rover, performance of a 911 and won't look out of place in the Lidl car park and for the price of 2 pints lager and a packet of crisps.1 -

Perhaps they need to have removed the existing nuts and that will cost money. Please see my earlier post where I suggested the OP seeks a cost price set of new bolts.

Maybe you should take note of my earlier posts where I've stated that in most cases a trip to the main dealer will result in a replacement key without any need for removing and replacing all the bolts.sweetsand said:

Perhaps you could direct me to to the OP car marque dealer where they can provide a wheel lock nt key without the orginal being present or the box as IMO that is not possible. I am aware of car keys via serial number but never wheel locks.
Uusally, lock is drilled off and new set of locks/nuts fitted.
Many thanks

Ford will be happy to supply a replacement locking nut key without the original or without a key number and there are many businesses who can supply a replacement key simply from a photograph of the nut.sweetsand said:Hi

I know for a fact that my local BMW dealer will do exactly that, and for a very minimal cost, in fact I'm aware from others that they've managed to get free replacement wheel nut keys from their own local dealer. I'm surprised you don't know this given all the high-end car marques you keep telling us you own.sweetsand said:

My car came with a locking wheelnut code. Easy to get a replacement.

You must have a low end car like Neil above.daveyjp said:My car came with a locking wheelnut code. Easy to get a replacement.
High end Marque's work differently

Its entirely possible, I've done it at several marques. At VW they had a box of all the possible keys and we just went through until we found the right one. At Ford there is a coloured shape that corresponds to the key, easily sorted plus other I cant remember. I do remember that its not me that loses these keys though...sweetsand said:

Nonsense. When I had a VW without a wheel-lock key, the dealer had a set of all the possible keys (20-ish) and simply tried them in order until he found the one to fit. It took all of five minutes.sweetsand said:
