Them wheels ain't off, it ain't a service.neilmcl said:
It isn't that unusual and besides unless it was a brake service there wouldn't be any need to remove the wheels.AdrianC said:Two years...?!?
Surely this isn't the first time the car's been serviced since it was delivered to you brand new...?
I presume from your wording that the garage who supplied the car are not the one who were servicing it now?
Sorry to sound all Fred, but... If they aren't even being checked...0 -
If the car is only two years old it may have just had its first service under extended interval servicing regime.
However I doubt many manufacturers include removing the wheels at first service (4x4s excepted where a change across axles may be requried). Oil and filter change, quick look at brake pad thickness and a hefty bill is now the norm.

My wheels only come off every 2 years according to the service schedule.

Trust me, they are being stolen and at times just for the crooks to sell on as it's money for nothing.born_again said:Better still get the locking wheel nuts removed and standard wheel nuts instead. Far more MSE
The days of alloy wheels being stolen is long gone.0 -
I concur. Unless it's a major, major service I too don't believe the wheels are readily removed these days.neilmcl said:
