While unfortunate, having to self-quarantine due to a suspected or actual coronavirus infection is not a family emergency.  You cancelled the lesson with less than 48 hour's notice, so were not entitled a refund.  Your instructor tried to be sympathetic, and you didn't merely look the gift horse in the mouth, but gave it a slap in the face.

A change to the ‘signature’ updates the signature on all previous post’s;...it would have been nice to see how the signature has progressed, up-to and including this latest incantation;
