Is there a longer funding window by any chance or does that also need to be completed within 48hrs of being sent the email?

Just seeing the email now and whilst I'm ok following the long process, the funds I could stick into this FD are currently in an NS&I income bond, so no way to get them in my current account before Monday at the earliest I think.

14 day funding window so you should be fine.

Thanks, managed to get it open but nowhere did it ask me for a linked external current account (despite suggesting during application that I could only deposit from this current account)... am I missing something?

Yep, sorry about that, was a mistake. 

My partner received an email with the download app link which you then had to login to open with an email/Facebook type account  The original email then subsequently disappeared and the downloaded tandem app didn’t seem to install properly. How did others get on installing it.were using an up to date iPad IOS. I’m gonna have to get back on the phone to tandem again today.

cancel the above query. We searched back in the history and this time the app install seemed to behave so all set up now ready to take the funding within 14 days..

I have to admit the 2 calls we’ve made to Tandem so far they’ve been very quick answering the phone and more than helpful. Impressed so far
