Sadly (for me at least) I think I'm on the verge of moving on.

Agree Blulu, it's the vagueness of communication that's as much a problem as anything. Tell us straight then we know what's what. Simples.2018 - £562 2019 - £130 2020 - £276 2021 - £106 2022 - £1403

I have held on in here but I no longer get the enjoyment out of comping in this user-unfriendly environment (the site, not the users!) I usually look forward to the Advents but fear they will be a nightmare this year if no further improvements are made. Surely the team working on the site have been working on it from home during the pandemic?:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea3

I would happily sign a petition. It would be good to know either way2

I would sign the petition.
I discovered comping on this site and have never used another site. Over the years, I have dipped in and out depending on how much free time I had and I have won some lovely things! I always loved the friendly and supportive atmosphere here. Based on this thread I had a quick peek at the duck site and I honestly prefer MSE. However coming back last month was a steep learning curve and sorting by end date is a right PITA at the moment. I agree that it would be better if MSE communicated if we were still important to them. Thanks to all the angels who post! :A2 -

To SORT.
If you start on the Competitions Time main page, towards the top of the page, just under New Thread you find Sort New and Filter All Statuses. Click on Sort New and select Closing Date, then Click on Filter All Statuses and select Open. This should then give you just 65 pages.
These 65 pages are the main board SORTED into end date order, working backwards to today and then the end date 00/00 posts.
If you click to go to page 65, the final 2 posts you see are wrongly sorted because the OP has entered the underlying Closing Date wrongly. In front of these are about 2 pages of End Date 00/00. Click to go back to page 62 (there is one 01/10 comp on page 63) and you will see End Dates 01/10. From there work backwards page by page and it will progress 01/10 then 02/10, 03/10 etc. These posts will be showing Entered/Skipped.
The only errors you will find are where the underlying Post Closing Date has been entered wrongly. e.g. you will find some with E: 30/09 in the title but this where some people were posting the underlying end date one day later than the actual end date.
ETA: By the way, if you are on any page except page 1, you can jump to any page you wish by amending the p number in the url to the page number you want to jump to.

I started using this site in early 2016 but stopped comping altogether last year. I started again last week. I've had to set up a new user name with a different email address as when MSE required the password change back in January/February time I never received the reset email. Since then I've tried a dozen or more times to access my old account but each time- no email.
So as a returning comper, I'm trying to do a combination of end dating and new listings. The first thing I'm noticing is that the pages aren't loading and I only get half a page until I refresh it. This could just be me but it isn't doing it on any other site. The second thing is about end dating. I've read all the discussions and realise this is a feature that was originally missing and we're lucky to have it. However I get numerous duplicates of the same listing and nowhere near as many as I think I should have. Today I've picked out about 10 that I want to enter. On a Friday!
I don't feel loyal to this version of MSE I'm afraid. Where else would people recommend as a platform? I have accounts from way back at Loquax and Prize Finder but always preferred old MSE.3 -
The page loading issue definitely isn't just you. Me and others get this too, with MSE. It has been posted about here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6188356
Blu XXXI am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apology
THIS IS ME!
When you talk down to others it says more about you than them.3
