If the decision hasn't yet been made you'll need to wait until it has before you can request the MR.
  • Yeah , my carter just said we may aswell start prepairing that’s all
  • I think it’s her way of trying to calm me down and show that something is being done bless her

That's just a standard letter they send to everyone. It's extremely annoying and quite pointless to send it really. A decision can still take several weeks, sometimes longer.
  • So was due to get paid today and nothing has gone in . This doesn’t look very good for my review . But I haven’t heard anything . Is it normal not to get notified before they stop payments

Yes, i'm afraid it's normal for payments to stop before you receive a decision letter. It's exactly the same when first applying, you receive payment before the decision letter.
It may not be bad news, it could be that you were awarded a different award so payments have been suspended while your new award is put into payment.  You can of course ring them to ask or wait for the decision letter, which should be received in the next week.
Do be aware that if it's not good news, then any other benefits you maybe claiming could be affected.
    Goodluck.
  • Thanks Poppy
Have called them and as you said my award has gone down so they have withdrawn the payment so that I don’t get overpaid and should recieve my new payment in 5 working days .

This means they have gone with the assessors recomendations . So I need to prepare for MR now which can then be sent off when the letter hits the door mat

    Thankyou all for your help

As the decision's now been made you don't need to wait for the letter.
