Counter charging for PCN at small claims court

  • And, following that thought. If I did lose and settle at court - could I avoid a CCJ. Or is the loss in court the same as a CCJ? Thanks

    Do you think we put anyone at risk of a CCJ?  Of course we don't.

    Obviously losing in court doesn't mean a CCJ.    I say 'obviously' not because people should know (because you wouldn't know) but why do you think we tell people to defend?  BECAUSE THERE IS NO RISK.  If you lose, you pay within 30 days. NO CCJ.

    You avoid it by paying it off , in full , asap , within 30 days but preferably within a few days , to avoid it going on any register

    It's the not paying quickly that triggers the trashing of your credit rating
