Morning all

thanks for the list, was supposed to be working but have a terrible headache and feel rotten, I’ve taken a sick day and will just rest and hope I feel better. Might have a slow plod through the list this afternoon if I feel up to it.

Getting ready to go to work but made Bramble Jelly from the (not very many, but enough) blackberries i picked and cooked yesterday, and strained overnight.  A nice bit of downtime foraging and prepping in an otherwise frenzied weekend.  Kitchen may have to wait until tomorrow.

We have leccy yayyyy. I have a brew - double yayyyy.

As soon as the leccy reappeared I switched off the lights and switched on: phone charger, heating, WM, kettle and toaster; and GF went in the shower. Internet, fridge/freezer and smoke alarms would automatically come back on. If everyone else did the same it's a wonder that the surge didn't cause another outage lol

I'm washed and dressed and I've made the bed, fed the birds, refreshed Sweetie's seed and water, rinsed and recycled all the cans and plastic bottles that were retrieved from DS's car, and read a couple of chapters of my book - I'm having a foray into Ancient Greece for a change. 

Telephone call from leccy company - no further problems expected with supply. Woot woot.

Next job - WUDUPA a bowl of pots.

Laundry shuffled I bossed OH to hang some out.
I need to vacuum the washer.. there must have been beads in somewhere because there are about 20,000 rattling about in the drum!! lol

Morning all, and welcome back to Skinty [waves] 

Most of level 1 is done.
Most of the books, files and boxes have been moved onto my new shelves - and I still have about 1.5m of shelf free (That won't last long!).  I have identified some things to  sell on eee-by-gum, some to offer to friends/family, some to go to the CS, and some to bin [fer-ling]

Lock returned to B&Q.. collected paint and wallpaper samples for Moomin.. We are turning the dark purple PINK and SPARKLY!!!! I made a real and proper girl!!!! .. I'm thinking of having 2 walls dry lined.. the third is already done and the other is internal.. it is very very cold and damp in there so it seems a sensible option.
Meem moved out to a house share with her friend.. I am a bit unsettled by this but it will be ok.. I will not die..
Put my christmas money in my mothers account so she is returning £250 tomorrow.. I have 3 ebeast parcels to sort and post and I need to nip in chemist for grandbeasties prescriptions.. eek.. will need to set off shortly.

Carpet cleaner has arrived but I haven't had time to do any more than put it together.. OH is at work tonight so I will whizz through the hallway and front room once he is gone... I am so excited abouting having clean carpets.. I may be crazy... oooh.... wonder if it does ceilings and slate floors... *whizz out manual*

I have lessons for tomorrow!  At last.  Didn't take very long once I got the files out and set to.  A listening exercise, a bit of grammar and a nice subject to encourage speaking.

rugs, hallway and my chair washed.. I think I am dead!

Making food.. and a cuppa.. loading DW, hanging out laundry and refilling with Meem bedding.. and Twinkles duvet.

I am exhausted.. and I need to message a guy re stairs carpet! might do that first so it is done.. be good to have it done while we smell less of cat!!
