Does anyone know if TSB limit how many existing Classic Plus accounts can be converted to Spend and Save accounts, and if so what the number is?0
-
That's bound to be trial and error and dependent on individual accounts. Those with Plus accounts are most likely waiting for the interest payment at beginning of December before converting to Spend and Save, that's what I am doing.
I have two plus accounts to convert and already hold two Spend and Save accounts, I have no idea if there will be any restrictions.0 -
Should I move all of my DDs and SOs from TSB to Lloyds, or just be lazy and continue to feed in the minimum each month from my savings account to the TSB accounts to keep them churning. Decisions, decisions.

Ironically, just as I've emptied these accounts, I see they've finally fixed the 'There are new items in your inbox' email to actually state that the items are just statements!0

I have just emptied the accounts with no issues. Perhaps the fears of IT meltdown were hyperbole. Or perhaps you good folks spreading it over days helped us all 😁
I do hope this isn’t interpreted as a “bump” to remind everyone that today is the day!! 🙀2 -
Both of mine emptied, reciprocal standing orders cancelled, £1 left in each, just in case (of something... not sure what!)

If Veryintrigued had omitted the word "bump" from said post, would anyone have claimed it was a bump?
Anyway, who is converting their old classic plus accounts to Spend and Save? I have two to do today providing the last lot of interest has been paid, not checked yet.0 -

What are you hoping to gain from that? They will not pay the monthly fivers for S&S accounts that were converted from the old Plus accounts. You need to open new ones if you want the fivers.
*You are eligible for Cashback if you open a new Spend & Save account, which includes changing an existing TSB account, other than a Classic account, to a Spend & Save account. See Cashback terms and conditions.

@IanManc I’m very pleased you think I have friends on this site. The reality is I don’t really post that much anymore. The only comment I made on bumping (aside from my post which you’ve quoted) was only really a roundabout way.
My comment genuinely wasn’t meant to be snide. Merely a half-hearted joke, so if you don’t find it funny, then I am guilty as charged for poor humour!2 -
