For me, it started at 3%, went up to 5%, back down to 3%, then down to 1.5%. In between all this the amount interest was paid on changed from 2000 to 1500.crumpet_man said:3%? I assume there is no point in keeping these in case they start paying interest again?

Might be worth it for future access to the Monthly Saver. I doubt it will start paying interest again, chances are they will introduce a new account with different T&Cs and benefits

I've got two from before they introduced the limit, so I could switch one away but then wouldn't be able to replace it.ColdIron said:Might be worth it for future access to the Monthly Saver. I'm thinking it's fine, but I'd kick myself if suddenly they returned to 5% on £2000 again :-)0 -
Would it not be possible to just open a TSB account should the day they pay 5% on 2k come again?Opinion Panel £50 Lightspeed: £40 Pigsback: £303 Valued Opinions: £365 Media Transfer: £32 Juicy Brains- £30 American Consumer Opinion: £16 Freebie Networks: £220 Cashback Sites: £1503.87 Competitions: £200 Total Cash Value: £2759.87 Last updated: April 20232

They learned to limit to one account after we all opened two.Jemsnation said:Would it not be possible to just open a TSB account should the day they pay 5% on 2k come again?
So I wouldn't be able to open two again.0 -
The Classic Plus account has been withdrawn from sale, and I don't know of any example of any bank ever improving the benefits of withdrawn accounts.phillw said:
