The 14 days isolation request by employer ?

Can I ask one more question I am self-isolating and thus will get SSP  but just checked my payslip and my employer has deducted over £800.00 from my salary sating offset hours can this be done

but only 2 weeks and this because of self-isolation due to son having cd19 symptoms not expect that amount to be deducted as never claimed SSP till now in any job thus the shock and it upset my budget for the month

You should get SSP only for those two weeks.

so best to stay at work then take  SSP as not help in the long run  give cv19 to others then take sick leave

Its hardly breaking news that SSP is considerably less than most peoples salaries, surely this isnt a shock.

I can see why it has gone through his mind though, people have bills to pay and food to put on the table. SSP is a pittance, but does the OP not qualify for this new £500 payment?
