Still on 2/15 NSDs as did the weekly shop yesterday. Did spend a bit more than I had hoped for but bought various stock cupboard bits. I also bought petrol. Did a short walk yesterday evening and read a few chapters of my book before bed. Today should be NSD 3.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Good morning all...
First off - Hugs to people who need them too. Ditty - I don't know the details - but sometimes hardships growing up, and not having everything can make a person appreciate things when life does deliver on them, and make you robust and resilient. You just have to say you have done the best with what you had at any given time. Even if you feel you didn't - maybe have that conversation. I am sure your boys love you 100% and wouldn't want you worrying about them x
Since my rota changed I now get Mondays off - is a nice feeling dodging those Monday blues I have to say... Going in Tuesday just doesn't have the same feeling of dread to it haha
Yesterday = NSD number 2 (I miss using colours)
So Yesterday was a wipe-out. Was looking after Mum and Dad over weekend, and despite a 10 hour sleep there (which is unheard of for me) I came home feeling wiped out emotionally and mentally. I literally flopped on the sofa at 5pm... and other than eating I zombied out there until 01:45am! Needless to say my step count didn't hit 7k+ that day, and I overate my calories, and my sleep routine went West. Hey ho. At one time I would have thought 'what a failure' and given up on everything. But I am not. I am giving myself a pat on the back for a tough weekend with Mum, and I will pick myself up today and get back on the wagon. I am really pleased and surprised at myself for being like this - and I think it shows my mindset has changed a fair bit these last few months.
So, today I am planning on a nice long walk in a nearby park with a river, woods and ducks and geese. I'll make sure I eat well and take my vitamins, and will get to the gym later on - oh - and an early night tonight. Also planning on making today another NSD.
On that note - I have moved all of my money jars, and budgeting stuff on to a table so I see it everyday (rather than being tucked away in a cupboard). I am back using the cash envelope system, and leave all my debit/credit cards at home out of sight. So far so good.
Have a great day folks!

Hugs, Ditty, I hope you start to feel a bit better very soon.
Well, yesterday was NSD no 2
Had a lovely roast chicken dinner and stock is now bubbling away on the hob for soup. Loads of chicken left. Going to the local deli shortly to get some of their delicious coleslaw and potato salad to go with cold chicken tonight.
Looking very much like further restrictions in Scotland so I’m glad I’m here. To be honest I don’t know what further restrictions can be brought in without going into lockdown again. We’ll see very shortly, I think.
It’s a lovely day so we’re off for a walk.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.10 -
Everybody thank you so much for your hugs I really needed them this morning, I just wanted to go back to bed, and call in sick. I actually felt sick, probably anxiety, but I got online with my class and hopefully they are now all in the process of creating new work. And I feel better for it. And I have emailed the worst stragglers!
We might end up with a couple of weeks on baked beans after the b'day party, but then I think thats pretty normal. I need to drop off the weight again anyways.
Gratitudes to excellent students who ask interesting problems.
Hope everybody else have a great start to the week.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Ditty I'm glad your morning got better!!Only on 1 NSD so far as I've spread the weekly shopping out over a few days.
The weekend was lovely. Painting class was a hoot on Friday, had drinks on a terrace on Sat (but not too many) all good. Other than that did nothing and relaxed.
Have been exercising but not managed to build regular meditation or reading into my routine. Will need to try harder.
Meal plan is sort of on target, of course now I don’t fancy eating any of the things we’ve batch cooked. haha
Helped sis2 out with some money as she’s struggling
Starting some proper work tomorrow. I’m a bit scared but all planned and ready to go.
Have a lovely day turtles

Spend day yesterday - had my eldest grandbaby for the weekend and realised that he really needed some more pj's! Ordered them and they should be delivered tonight 😉 4NSD's so far though so not too shabby!
Excercise has got nowhere- work and the weather are conspiring against me and I have family coming at the end of the week so I'll start the self-care next week...
Everything is ticking over nicely though - I'm well within budgets and sticking to eating from the fridge and garden 😊7 -
