O - NO NSDS yet! oops!
U - Went to local park yesterday to sit in the sun and read my book. Remembered to meditate and exercise.
T - Miscalculated on some of my spending this month… Need to make better notes as I don’t remember what we have paid for between the two of us. Will try to do better this month!!
W - Have done a proper meal plan for next week and will try to stick to it.
A - My awesome thing yesterday was making bread which cheered bf up
R - Routine is going well but will be put to the test next week when I add more teaching hours to my schedule.
D - There will be no saving for the foreseeable but grateful for the savings that I do already have.B - Slight miscalculation some of my budgets but I am getting better at the process. I have an extra cost this month as I am getting some tropical fish from a student who has also given me a tank, (for free) so I only have to buy a heater and some gravel which I’ll buy only if the weekend is low spend and it can come from my “fun” budget. Off to a painting class tonight which is all paid for so should be no reason to spend.
O - i am sure there will be some laughs tonight at the painting class… I hope I’m not the worst student
U - Very grateful for figuring out how to get some paperwork done online which meant I didn’t have to get up in the wind and rain this morning to schlep to the tax office.
N - Clear out of bedroom drawers scheduled for tomorrow.
D - need to give December some more thought! have decided that if going home isn't a possibility, we are going to use the plane fare money to stock up on all our fave english snacks and eat ourselves into a food coma. I will miss the pub though.

I have spent today, but not lost my NSD - in c/s's spent £2.75 on a pair of jeans (my one and only pair of full length trousers) and 75p on a lampshade to bring a lamp back into use. 'Spent' a £4 voucher on lunchbox tat for the kids for Monday, so do not need to spend anything over the weekend. Cashed out a £10 voucher from a survey site and £4 on Amaz0n e-vouchers.A roofer who is not water-soluble appeared, looked, and has promised to quote.Gained two large glass vases for free. One will be a hurricane lamp style candle holder, the other will, erm, be, like, a, er, vase. Unless I decide to fill it with sweeties over the C-word to annoy the kids.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hi
Just finished work and looking forward to the weekend
My updates below:
O still on NSDs 0/15 - went to the c00p at lunch and bought a few things for tea
U You need to take care of you. Had a walk at lunchtime down to the river, was lovely and the long lunch break was worth it to get some fresh air and daylight.
T Try to live frugally, being mindful of every purchase. Been eating from stores but running out of things now. will clean my fridge tonight while it is nearly empty.
W Winter is coming. You are going to get sick. Be prepared. looking after myself - fresh air, exercise and had a good sleep last night.
R Routine. Been active today. not snacked too much between meals either.
D Finances looking good for the amount of month left to payday
gratitudes - it's friday; got washing almost dry in the breeze; pizza in the freezer; wine poured

Today I am grateful for the gutter men coming back to finish the job, for meeting up with a friend for a good ol' natter for a couple of hours, for finding the sticky name labels to use on clothing for mum, for having the bus all to myself when I went to meet dd - it was like a personal taxi!

O – 2/15 NSD
U – so I did yoga x 2 – very gentle, had porridge and blueberries (froze) for brekkie and then mushroom and barley stew with dumplings…not sure I will have dinner. It s wine and whining now it’s the weekend. Did a walk around the block and posted letters. Lovely poem from my yoga teacher – “A home called tomorrow”- for the optimistic October
T – Think I am being very frugal. Focussed frugality for me, I have batch cooked, and that is helping with the U
W – I am feeling a chill, and am going to get the extra layer of duvet out to stay cozy. Took my multi-vit, might try to find the hot water bottle.
A – finished a really good piece of work today – Awesome!
R – so routine done again today – self-care and MSE check ins are the bookends of the work day.
D – I am sorting out debts…
B …and finalising budgets tomorrow. I got paid today, but have been busy and wobbly. Need to concentrate on it,
O – originality, not really sure…not had much fun really.
U - – had a look in the furniture charity shop for a desk so that I can keep the living room a yoga, food, knitting, food and wine sanctuary. I have a tiny hall, I want to make an office in. I have 6 months at home working more than likely. There wer several beureau's, will have another look tomorrow, not sure which way to go.
N – I might have a bit of a sort out tomorrow, my cupboards and fridge are a mess.
D – Not thought about it, today. Thank fully!

Friday- 2nd NSD.
O: buying nothing but essential food until we move, then restock everything, so will be minimal spends for the first half of the month then a budget blowing shop. But food spends have been low for the last few weeks to empty the cupboards so I guess it all balances out.
U: sunshine is in short supply, but water, rest, exercise, air and diet I can control. Went riding today which was great.
T: frugal life- I'm determined to consider all purchases for the new house carefully- all at the best price I can get, but I want to make sure that I don't fall into the trap of buying a "cheap" version of something that I then end up replacing anyway. So well thought out, good value but to get what I really want I don't mind spending a little bit more.
W: hot water bottles have been in use already, the medication stocks are pretty good, I will get the freezer restocked at the end of the month before winter comes in fully
A: I don't feel very awesome most days! Will try harder 🤣
R: this I'm good atonly a 0% credit card, which I have the money to clear and if my savings interest rate drops any more I might just do that.
B: budgets- all over the place! So the less said about that the better.
O: lots of fun with DD most days. Will have to sort out some half day trips/fun stuff for the tattie holidays- need to balance sorting out the new house/clearing this house with entertaining an 8 year old.
U: I am very grateful for my current situation, my life is good, I am content.
N: I am discarding possessions at a steady rate just now, so I'm all over this!fingers in my ears shouting Halloween and fireworks night 🤣.
My only extravagant purchases will be for DD, and even that won't be too crazy. Family gifts have a cost guideline and we all stick to it fairly well. I suspect this year a lot of the school fairs, light switch ons etc will be cancelled so that is likely to reduce my spending in December.
Thanks for the thoughtful challenges this month, I am so impressed by all of you who plan the challenges each month.8 -
SFD on Thursday as only went to work and then the gym. Yesterday I was off work ill with a cold, this year we’ve all made a pact to not go in if we have colds etc to try and stop everyone getting everything so had a quiet day and then popped out later with bf and his family for tea and I paid the parking.Today will be spendy as having a massage, which will be a lovely treat. Then a quiet day recuperating the rest of the time.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)
