We can't see your letter so can't advise - what exactly does it say? Does it have the exact same claim reference? Or is this your hearing to rule on costs?
It has the exact same claim reference number. The lady from the said its becos we are claiming cost.
Do we have to pay a hearing cost?
Why not ring the lady back?  I'm sure you'd get a much more accurate answer from the court than from a simple parking forum!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So we rang the court yesterday, the lady that we shouldn't have to pay, but she said she isn't legally trained so she can't really advice. She asked us to follow the directives on the letter.  The letter says that the hearing would take place in February 2022 via team. And that each party must submit their email address and telephone number within 48hrs of receiving this letter.
It went further to state the cost to be paid if any party decide to adjourn the hearing. And that each party has to submit their bundle not less than 7days before the hearing

Ok, what about directions re supplying your costs assessment and a copy of the discontinuance, and any proof you have of costs incurred before that discontinuance.

Are there any directions about supplying your evidence for this hearing (e.g. costs assessment and a copy of the discontinuance, and any proof you have of costs incurred before that discontinuance)?
