Thankyou for the suggestions @Suffolk_lass I shall pop over for a read momentarily. Have made myself a motivating running total display on the kitchen door this morning as well.
Onwards and upwards, goldfinches.

First shop of the month today and spent £37.17
£212.83 left
Also spent some of the bulk fund at the butchers but won't be tracking that on here but definitely enough sausages & burgers for this month. Also bought a couple of things which come from the grocery budget which are included above.

I'm £31.66 down after a little stockpiling of one or two things we were low on - brown lentils, veggie stock, and my psyllium husk capsules - essential to keep things moving smoothly, sorry if TMI! There's enough of each to see us through into the New Year but I wouldn't want to be caught out without any of them.Angie - GC Dec 25 £376.31/£500: 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 40/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)5

Hi all. Please put me down for £400
Only a guess at this point as first month completing6 -
Just milkman so far, paid by direct debit. I know it is more expensive, but if I don't otherwise need to go shopping, it keeps me away from any temptation. I did shop on Monday (in September) and I'm going to see how long we can go without a top up. I do have a £5 Coop voucher I could resort to if we need more fruit but I have berries in the freezer, russet apples still on the tree and a tray of cooking apples storedSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2234.63/£3000 or 74.49% of my annual spend so far (not going to be much of a Christmas at this rate as no spare after 9 months!
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the Grow your own thread
