We spent some time in the garden yesterday as well. The weather was just right for it and the breeze had dried out the grass enough to get the first cut on it. It felt nice to be out in the garden and giving it a pre spring tidy up. Been making plans to get the vegetable seeds planted. We are not doing anything fancy this year, just sticking with what worked well last year. Mostly beetroot, carrots and chillies.

Glad you got in the garden, I didnt as it was raining on and off and if I had gone out in the dry spells it woukd have started just as I got stuck in.

Today’s cal ‘find ways to enjoy any chores / tasks you have to do’. Not going to be too difficult today tbf. Plan to spend very little, just have food delivery which tbh I don’t really think is a ‘spend’ unless planning something particularly extravagant and way over what you’d normally spend I suppose.

@getmore4less your sleep patterns really are all over the place mate. Tbh I’m keeping my phone / iPad away from my bedroom sometimes do get back to sleep through boredom I think sometimes ha.

Probably time for me to work from home or 1/2 day as you say. It’s far from all my staff, just a few of them most of which like more than a drink. No good for me to be around I know that 100%.

This year definitely first we have plans mapped out and looking forward to them. Wife always liked going away I couldn’t drag myself away from home. Start to really realise what my addiction took from me tbh nothing that great around here that makes it worth staying over going away with my wife and family. She is enjoying the trip planning and I know she’d like a bit of help actually good to think of it from a budget point of view - could wind up getting more value planning ahead. Thanks mate.

CP trip is happening again should be my turn to pay but they’ve once again refused to let me. Really looking forward to it tbf.

Ha that’s something you do differently to me re holidays I generally pay up at the point of booking and it’s off the in principle budget and in the credit card sheet. Doesn’t matter ultimately tbf I still have the card to pay back I know.

@RelievedSheff It’s a lovely day here again. We haven’t got much done in the garden tbh though beetroot and carrots are on our list as well as lettuce / rainbow chard, strawberries and tomatoes which I’m not sure will go well. What were the chillies like?

@ladyholly thought the sun was always shining in the south lol.

@Iamouttheotherside 100% agree tbh your idea of Friday sounds really pleasant wife would love it, son would like being picked up from school and tbh I’d really enjoy that too. Sat here whilst on the phone waiting on hold thinking about booking something now for Friday lunch now haha.

@alt80 ideal! Is it former  'friend' who turned up on Fri? I know you won't allow him to undermine your huge progress.  That is real success that doesn't depend on loaded parents and an entitled attitude.  Keep going you're doing wonderfully well love Humdinger x

Our chillies were great. We planted a selection from really mild to stupidly hot.

Still got loads in the freezer!!
