I’m losing my mind over this can’t think about anything else. Been looking at Hanwells website. Got a T1 like my dad’s car for sale but not rusty £23k, 2 years warranty as well. Used to go to Hanwells every once in a while as a kid. Sent the car to my sister told her we can go to hers and get wife to drive us around, swing by school, have lunch at my parents’ place and she can play tlc through the stereo be like being a kid again. Would give her a laugh and all can do is ask me if I’ve been on drugs lol.

Had a chat with parents about old times too, lots of good memories. Miss being a kid simpler times lots of hope for the future. Nothing to look forward to now. Probably should just give in let wife pick something just forget about life outside of work. My dad thinks I should leave it in the past, driving a 50 year old Bentley around is a bit weird suppose he’s right really told them they should come back though. Different back then cars etc even when they left it’s changed in the uk.

Isn’t it a work day? You moan about having bank holidays off, or a normal holiday, then waste your day on nonsense like this. No wonder your sister thinks you’re on drugs

I think driving around in an old Bentley would be a bit odd. The house I grew up in recently came onto the market again. It would be great to move in with my wife, now aside from it being 2.5m, its the people who make it. I couldn't relive the moments growing up without my parents there. And they would definitely think I was crazy for buying it. The people always make the moments not some collection of metal or bricks.

Instead of looking back at what could have been, look forward at what your future as a family will be.

You can not change the past. There is absolutely no point dwelling on it.

You can however make the best for your family in the months and years ahead.

This is part of your instant fix problems.

A few months back it was pay the debts of ASAP and that drove the decision making for few months, you couldn't stop looking for another cutback.

Sun comes about and you are regretting those desisions made a while back.

You could have had a 5y or 10y debt plan but no it had to be instant fix total cutback.

This is a constant problem the latest top of the list fantasy and you lose sight of the big picture plan that has been well thought through.

You put your BTL business on the never never to buy the RR while you unwind that there is nowhere to go for another £100k which is what you need for a decent F-type new.

You never really planned the RR, F-type, BMW combination that's what has got you into this mess, over commitment on monthly and balloons.

Sensible and cheap through the company gets you closer to where you want to be sooner.

You made the mistake with a compromise car already that why you have the BMW draining your AM funds.

Why repeat that mistake because the sun came out

You are obviously having a bad time. You need to talk to your counsellor ASAP and continue with your homework. Life has much to offer you don't get bogged down with stuff you can't change or even influence. The easing of lockdown brings new opportunities with your family not the end of everything. It may make your demons to come to the fore but you have done so well keep going and don't spoil it now.
