OTOH it looks great for anyone with Outgoing Agile - 20p/kWh all tomorrow morning and 16p/kWh after that!

What's the consensus on fit vs using something like outgoing agile? Fit is deemed export and I use all my generation, so presumably fit makes more sense?
    5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017
    Lux + 3 x US2000B + 2 x US3000C battery storage. Installed Mar 2020.

Yes, if you're not exporting anything then there's no point looking at metered export!
Over the past 6 weeks (ie. since my smart meter was installed) I've exported 70% of my generation, so metered export would have been worth it. I'm not going to make any rash moves until I've got more data.

I shifted to intelligent octopus a little while ago. Wish I'd have done it sooner, kept thinking agile was suddenly going to improve.

Agile only reflects what is going on in the market, we can all expect eye-watering increases when our fixes end as a result of the gas crunch.  TBH it looks like supply interruptions for gas if it is a cold winter as the high gas spot over the summer means storage has not been replenished.
    I think....

Yesterday, and again today, we reached the crazy-but-inevitable-in-hindsight situation where the (uncapped) Outgoing Agile price was higher than the (capped) Agile price. Supply shortfalls have pushed the spot price of electricity to record highs.

35p from 07.30 to 21.00 today. Just had a look at wholesale prices and £1500/MWh currently. Unusually high for this time of day having shot up from £128 at 07.30.

    Update on my previous post.

Wholesale cost of electricity exceeded £4000/MWh (£4/kWh) by teatime today and the average wholesale cost of electricity today has now reached £1000/MWh. I can’t recall average prices over the day getting anywhere near this level before.
Octopus Agile Outgoing peaked at 59p per unit at 17.30, less than on Monday.
