Lots of estimated readings so its difficult to say.

Read your meters today and give them to BG  - you will then get an actual bill.

There are certainly better unit and standing charge rates around. Once you know your consumption use a comparison site - eg Citizens Advice or Which p

The estimated BG annual consumptions - to be taken with a huge pince of salt - gas 21,726 kWh and elec 6,286 - are DOUBLE the average.

You've made ALL the classic mistakes !
    • You've chosen an expensive tariff from an uncompetitive supplier.
    • You've chosen the expensive convenience of dual fuel rather than separate suppliers.
    • You haven't bothered to read the meters.
    • You don't understand that your direct debits merely top up a kitty that may or may not reflect how much energy you are using.  You must think in terms of annual kWh usage based on actual meter readings.
    • Your electricity consumption, if accurate, seems extremely high.  Are you using an instantaneous electric shower or an immersion heater?  As you have gas, they are both No Nos because electricity kWhs cost about five times as much as gas kWhs.

Your meter reads cubic feet or cubic metres, not kWh.  You can convert the figures here.
Be aware that some suppliers won't let you switch to them if you have smart meters. They can also ration your usage and disconnect you remotely, and they store your usage information in half hour intervals for 13 months. Happy with those unpublicised 'benefits'?

Even from the last two readings in 7 days
     - elec is 4900 kWh  - very high compared with the average 3000 kWh
    - gas is 18 x 11.2 =  10500 kWh - and its not even the heating season.

Just what are you using ?
