xxxxxxxx said:I am finding the same, viewing from a laptop.
I updated chrome to the latest version. still happening. Tried microsoft edge and it did not have the problem, but I don't want to use edge. Annoyed that microsoft forced edge on to my desktop without my permission.
It happens on all boards on all threads. Most of the time. there are white patches but also the page does not fully load it stops half way down and sometimes might load a bit more but sometimes not.
I am using Windows 7 (yes I know) I doubt this has anything to do with Win 7 / Win 10.
Anyone getting this with windows 10? I will try my other laptop which has Windows 10 and chrome.Google Chrome is up to date
Version 85.0.4183.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Sometimes the white spaces eventually or partially disappear but refreshing seems to work ...eventually.
I also found that selecting the withe spaces clears them, click mouse and drag cursor across the white section.0 -
The problem seems to have been resolved now. Pages seem to be filling out properly on my set up.0

Its not resolved in my case at all !
Hopefully they will sort it out soon .1 -
yes I get it too. in fact it just happened reading this thread. If I press f5 to refresh the page it clears itself and then its fine.1

Hi everyone. Glad to hear this is fixed for some. We'll let you know when we think it has been remedied for all. Until you hear from us that we think we've fixed this, please assume we're still working on fixing it.
Hopefully we'll have info or a resolution soon

Still getting this issue myself, assumed it was some sort of blip but has been continuing without resolution. Happy to provide any details to help the MSE team to replicate the issue.
I'm on Windows 10, Chrome version 85.0.4183.102 (latest version)
Not only do I see the white spaces described by others, but also get a scroll bar appearing halfway down my screen, which I can't do anything with. Very annoying!
Thanks.0 -

I reckon it'll be something in that right sidebar that's behind the problem. As I don't have a right sidebar (because I've used filters to block the useless - to me - content therein) that's probably why I don't get any such issues.0

I'm getting this (Chrome in Windows 10) and it's certainly not got any better over the past few days. It's not difficult!
