Nice work! I also had to pop out to the shops tonight, as I forgot bananas. I buy bananas every single week, but because I forgot to put them on my shopping list last weekend I forgot to buy them 🤦‍♀️ At least I know I'm sticking to the list 🤣!
    Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed

Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!

  • Finally cashed out £50 on You Gov 💪 not sure quite how long its taken, but it feels like forever  😄 Desperately in need of some new jeans (mine are almost unable to be worn without getting in trouble for offending public decency 😄 ) but despite having a clothing budget, I don't like spending it 😅  so spending a reward will be easier!

  • Finally made it to my late day at work!!! Wooohoooo! Week off next week and then get started at the new job, cannot wait! Going to be marching out the door once I finish, will be such a relief given how horrible the atmosphere has been in the last 6 months or so. Shall be celebrating 🍾  with a takeaway tonight :-D

well done - if its your last day you might as well make it a late day - I mean what can they do to you :sunglasses:

I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
  • Lol  🤣 very true @mark55man

Need to work out a few details next week on my pay for the new place, its much lower pension contibutions from the company (but a nice payrise and another when I pass probation!) so need to work out how much I need to up mine in order to still get enough into the pension. But thats something to sort next week!

  • Last day done 🥳 Got some lovely flowers and a voucher, 1 colleague was in the office with me so we did a virtual goodbye which was nice to at least get a chance to say goodbye. Very generously got a gift voucher as well so will have to think how to spend that!
