It's not a popularity contest as the winner is decided by Martin and not determined by the number of vots/nominations.

People can win by receiving just one single vote. It's just a nice way to acknowledge that somebody's post has been useful and deserves a little more than the average 'thanks'.

I'm still undecided as to my nomination this time, so I'll come and edit this later! :rolleyes:
