Twinks Hobnob Recipe
Ingredients8oz sr flour
FOUND IT!!
8oz sugar
8oz porridge oats
8oz margarine
1tbsp golden syrup
1tbsp hot water
1/2 tsp bic soda
Instructions
Mix the flour, oats and sugar, melt marg, syrup and water in a pan. Stir in bic soda and add to dry mix.
Then mix well and make into smallish balls which you then put on a greased tray and flatten slightly with a fork. Put in the oven at 180 degrees C for 15 mins... and cool on the tray. The aim is to get them golden in the oven not brown.

I have so many unpaired odd socks still... I hate socks.. they should be on strings like wally mittens.. or tights!! I have 2 full baskets of paired socks and a basket on undies to put away.
I am still putting off venturing in the understair cupboard!! It requires vacuuming the hallway first and I don't want to do that!
nmm... thank you for taking the time to look.. you should make some if you haven't before.. they are delish!

Wow, I go to work and come back to us being in page 4! So lovely seeing the thread so busy.
Good day, lots of catching up with colleagues. Tomorrow is the real test when the kids are back! I picked up two very grumpy kids from school, think they are already tired. Supper and PJs for them now. The WM is on and will go over the airer, DW also on. Milkman bill paid, £50 shuffled to savings, packed lunches prepped for tomorrow. An early night with my book and a cup of tea is on the cards I think. Have lovely evenings all x11 -
Evening all, todays list.

Urgh. Got dressed in the dark this morning. New cheap flared skirt, blouse bought because it was in my size, rather than checking the cut, did the French tuck thing because it didn't look right loose, tights, sensible flat shoes, blazer, jumper, hair twisted into a low bun.
Felt a bit 'weird', so I took a look at myself in a mirror when I got into work in case it wasn't just me not being used to wearing a skirt in public.
Good grief. Black skirt, blazer and shoes, grey jumper, blue tights. I looked like either a fat version of me circa. 1988 in what just about passed for my school uniform - or a Nun without a wimple.
If I'd had the light on, I wouldn't have gone for the weird blue legs thing. Or anything else, to be honest.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll8 -
Maybe get your clothes out the night before Jojo lol
2000 pairs of knickers put away
8000 pairs of socks still to fling in drawers.. if I can find any drawers with any room!

LR not too bad today as we're moving stuff around so everywhere got vacuumed and tidied yesterday, ripped rotten skirting board off waiting to purchase replacement. Just redone our mortgage deal 5 year fixed at cheaper interest and lower repayments, that'll do for now as who knows what's going to happen.
Oh dear Jojo, take pigpens advice and sort clothes out the night before. I know how you feel about wearing skirts in public, i really want to start doing that again so sick of jeans, wore a skirt last week with tights, was pleased with myself except i got bitten by bugs twice whilst walking the dogCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:9
