Morning xx
Good luck to all those returning to work xx I'll be back in the office tomorrow after my week off - but today I am home alone.
I'm up, made the bed, changed the towels in the bathroom, set towels and tea towels swishing in WM and supped my first brew. I've also turned the calendar over to September.
Round 1 =
get dressed
feed the birds
put out rubbish and recycling
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
Thank you for the thread xx

Good morning!
I am awake, which is a start! Today's list looks doable 👍 😁 I also need to pop to bandq for some new taps for the utility basin (bathroom basin taps arriving today according to the courier message), then I can message Bob the builder to change both sets. I am hoping he can fit me in Wednesday as I am not working then. I also need to do some food shopping, and DH mentioned going out somewhere for a walk. It was our anniversary yesterday (23 years!), but we didn't really do anything 'together'. We had a family dinner, including my mum, and a walk along the seafront for doughnuts & ice cream 😁
DH has been complaining of a sore 'moob' the last day or so. Now, he often moans of various whingeries, and is prone to hypochondria, so I tend to ignore him! 😂 However, it is painful, and there is a definite lump 😱 Not wanting to alarm him, I have encouraged him to call the dr. I said it could be a bite, which he is agreeing with. But I don't think it looks like a bite 😕, not really. Am I overreacting (in a very non-reaction way!)?
Good luck to anyone returning to work this week! Have a good day everyone 😁7 -
Morning all,
Hopefully it's ok to jump in and join you. I'm desperately needing some motivation with my to do lists!
Today's list for me:- Dishes
- Put away cross-stitch carnage (magazines, threads I'm not using, patterns not started)
- List two things on local free-share group
- Order more thread (I know!) for new projects
- Take out recycling
- Put away yesterday's clean washing - ideally before the first video meeting of the day!
- Buy batteries
- Finish putting away tins from yesterday's shopping
- Clear mess from top of chest of drawers

Welcome Moomin xx
Goodi - fwiw I think a call to the GP is a sensible idea. GP can either put DH's mind to rest or set the ball rolling to get it sorted. Hugs and flylady dust heading your way, xx
I just popped on to look at the weather forecast. Do I hang out the towels or not?
Back later.

Morning again
List is done. Nice and easy as the lounge is almost empty until we take delivery of the new furniture, have also scrubbed bathroom and en-suite, quick vac of ground floor again, 2 x wm and all pegged out, it’s still and a bit cloudy but hopefully it will still dry, just the towels left to be washed, will probably do later on. DH has hoovered and dusted spare room and office and is just working on our bedroom, I’ve also done the stairs with the cordless vac plus emptied washed and refilled litter trays.
once DH finishes I think that might be us done for the day, going to go off for a walk this afternoon.
enjoy your day all, good luck to those returning to work, flylady vibes etc for anyone who needs them X9 -
well the house is in a definite state of 'before' but I'm only just up and fed and I'm off to work shortly...

New taps & plug bought, Mcd breakfast scoffed & Bob the builder has been messaged. WM has been on, but it started to rain so it is in the TD. Needless to say the sun is out now! 🤦♀️ Load 2 in WM.
I forgot to say earlier - well done Narc0 on the run! That is amazing!10 -
I need to contact someone about cleaning the LR carpet. There is now a very light (clean?) patch in the middle where the dog had an accident last week. It has been on my list for ages! I have a friend whose husband has a cleaning company who has been struggling as he didnt qualify for SEISS as he set up as a Ltd co, because large firms would not use him otherwise! I might as well keep it local 😁
