So, there's a section of this awful ,new improved' forum entitled 'site feedback'. Are you suggesting that that it's a pointless place to be???waamo said:Has anyone mailed the forum team with this? whats weird is when I refresh a page it jumps to the next page (eg i'm reading page 2 of a thread and the error is present, so I hit F5 or click refresh and I'm now on page 3). Not sure whats causing that2

I'm not suggesting it at all. I'm saying it unequivocally and provided a link to the post by the forum team saying so.J_B said:

If you look at the URLs sometimes it ends with /#latest instead of /p2 /p3. Latest takes you to the latest page with comments you haven't read yet. If you're on page 2 using the #latest URL then when you refresh it assumes you've already read page 2 (even though you can't because of the white lines) and takes you to page 3 instead. It makes a frustrating situation even worsewesleyad said:whats weird is when I refresh a page it jumps to the next page (eg i'm reading page 2 of a thread and the error is present, so I hit F5 or click refresh and I'm now on page 3). Some users have reported the problem also occurs with Opera.
This suggests the problem occurs with Chromium, and not just the Chrome browser.
I have still not had this problem on any website other than MSE forums.1
