I'm using Chrome and I'm getting an issue where white bars appear when I open a thread or try to scroll down one:

I've had a quick try on Edge and that browser doesn't seem to have the issues. Is anyone else having this issue and are there any plans to fix it? I can just switch over to Edge in the meantime.

  • Yes, same here. F5ing after loading every page seems to sort it but shouldn't really have to be doing that.

I have been getting the same for the last 2 days. It is very annoying.
  • I'm on Chrome and it's been doing the same thing for me too. It also shows a horizontal scrollbar at the bottom that doesn't actually do anything.

    To all above]

Do you still have 'Stylish' downloaded as an extension on Chrome (it helped to stretch the forums on the old green site)?
    If so delete it.

I had all of the above problems after upgrading to Chrome V85 but it has stopped since I deleted it.
I also ran the forums on 'Brave' browser and I did not have any problems with that.

(Glad it was not just me LOL).

No 'Stylish' download here but still a problem. It just started a couple of days ago, I haven't changed anything, honest.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.
  • I don't have "Stylish" installed either. This started last week for me.

  • I didn't have any problems either until the Chrome upgrade. Tried various things but deleting the Stylish extension worked for me.
  • I've been getting this too, F5 sometimes helps but not always.
I'm using Chrome on Mr g33's new laptop so I assume that it's including the Stylish extension. Will ask him to delete it!

I've been having this problem for a few days now, so had emailed forum help before this thread started (thought I was the only one).  Had reply today saying they were aware of the issue and were working on it.
If I want to use I have to revert to using Opera browser which has no problem.  Strange thing is that using Chrome on tablet doesn't have the problem, just on desktop PC.
