I don't think they will tighten the Covid restrictions any further now. The daily cases has started to come down, although it is still high, but in a couple of weeks that will filter through to less people being admitted into hospitals easing the pressure on the NHS a little.alt80 said:No worries about his job then. I’d still be anxious about no work for reasons other than money personally one lockdown more than enough for me very glad BoJo gone quiet lol.
I do think they are being optimistic in saying that measures will begin easing in February though. I can't see that happening until March at the earliest.4 -
Can’t see anything easing before March either mate. Business open, don’t need anything else right now ha.3

Just had a message from the dog groomers. The local council has forced them to close.
Looks like we got the dog cut in the nick of time this time 😮5 -

I was surprised the groomers were still open when you mentioned it.
Glad the pooch will remain handsome for lockdown though - unlike the males in my house who completely failed to snag a trim before lockdown and are starting to look a bit straggly. I have clippers but everyone tends to look like a monk when I've finished.3 -
The other half has not got much in the way of hair left so fortunately for him he can just do his own with the clippers.warby68 said:I was surprised the groomers were still open when you mentioned it.

I managed to sneak in a cut a couple of weeks before lock down so I will be ok for a while!4 -
I think Storm Christoph has well and truly hit us, very wet indeed. I should've been going to the hairdressers this week, I had to trim my fringe the other day to stop me looking like the Dulux dog. Fortunately my hair is long so it's only my fringe that suffers in lockdown. Mr SA is like your OH, has very little hair left and does his own with clippers.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Well Christopher certainly made his presence known last night. We were both woken several times last night by the wind and biblical rain. There will definitely be some local flooding this morning.
It will be another no spends day for us today.
