I would not BT the other 3 cards given the fairly high balances and the chance you will have to pay BT fees. Seems little point when they are on 0% and you think you can clear them before the deal expires.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. That makes more sense. Would just switch unless the BT fees are going to work out higher.Furniture/ HP easy wins just letting them run don’t need to think about it/ overanalyse that one.1

The 0% runs out on cards 4 and 5 this year.enthusiasticsaver said:I would not BT the other 3 cards given the fairly high balances and the chance you will have to pay BT fees. Seems little point when they are on 0% and you think you can clear them before the deal expires.1 -
Is there any merit to looking for a 0% purchase card now to avoid the BT fee?3

You have put June and December 2022 on the plan above which confused me. I assumed that was when the deals expired but obviously not.RelievedSheff said:
The 0% runs out on both cards 4 and 5 later this year so they will need switching anyway. Figured adding on whatever is left from Card 3 (which hopefully shouldn't be too much) will just make things easier.alt80 said:Are the cards currently 0%? If so any margin in clearing the furniture/ HP early instead? Get those gone both will be interest baring I’m sure?
@warby68 that’s not an unreasonable concern. Few years back I made a big payment from my business account whole !!!!!! lot gets frozen. 😆 Took the day to reinstate it.
The furniture loan is getting paid of this year regardless. Should be in a position next week to make a decent overpayment on that account and hope to do so for the next few months to get that account cleared ASAP. This is the next "easy target" account to get paid off.
The HP I think we will just let run it's course. The interest rate isn't massive on that one.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Don't want to be making any more credit applications until our remortgage has completed in May.stymied said:Is there any merit to looking for a 0% purchase card now to avoid the BT fee?1 -
I assume she is waiting for the CCJ to drop off which makes sense.alt80 said:

There will definitely be better offers once all the adverse is gone.3 -
The other half is furloughed next week. Looks like it is just for the week though as things stand.
