Our lowest is the 2.34% that we are on now. But that was due for renewal in May this year anyway so we would have lost that.

The 4.04% we will be on soon will be the second lowest rate we have had so it won't feel too bad.

    We had another productive weekend.

The Sierra was taken to storage on Saturday morning. We won't be seeing that again until the weekend we move into the new house.

We also dismantled a couple of wardrobes which were taken to the tip along with a mattress and a few other bits and bobs we don't need anymore. So now we have the spare bedroom for storing boxed up items.

Next weekends job is tidying out the garage and the garden storage boxes, so several more tip runs I suspect. I will make a start on boxing up the kitchen contents while the other half is busy outside.

We will definitely have broken the back of the packing by the end of next weekend. We might even look at sneaking in a weekend away in the van between now and moving day. Have a break from house stuff.

Everything seems to be ticking along nicely for now. It's almost going too well.

No doubt something will come along in the next few weeks and upset the apple cart!!

£393 paid to the motorhome loan today. Only two more repayments to go on that now. That five years has flown by!

Can still remember the day we picked it up from the dealership as clear as if it was yesterday.

Nothing at all to report on the house front this week. More sorting and packing this weekend. The other half is tackling the garage and the garden boxes this weekend so I will do more packing in the house. Might make a start on the kitchen and we have some mirrors and large pictures that want carefully wrapping so that will keep me busy.

Doesn't seem possible that it's 5 years almost since you got the motorhome. Just imagine how much extra spare money you'll have by the summer without having the monthly payments you have at the moment. I know some will be extra on the mortgage but still a decent amount extra to save or spend (on more trips out in the motorhome perhaps!)

You're doing well getting the house packed up. Do you have an actual move date yet?
