It's been a busy few days again. Always is on the run up to Christmas but we had our buyers round for a second viewing, the solicitors are cracking on at a rate of knots (draft contracts were sent yesterday to our buyers solicitors) and then we have had the usual Christmas run around.
The other half is at work today, he's finishing at dinnertime so not too bad. I've been busy doing the last clean up of the house. Got to be better things to be doing on Christmas Eve than cleaning ovens 🤣🤣🤣
Not going near any shops today. They were bad enough on Monday when I picked up the last few bits.
Looking forward to sitting on the sofa and watching Home Alone when the other half gets home. Let's get Christmas started.
Merry Christmas to you all.2 -

I’ve ventured to the shops his morning, wasn’t too bad. Trying not to open my purse for the next week if possible. Fed up with spending and not a lover of sales anyway.

We had a really lovely quiet Christmas at home. Lots of good food and drink and lots of walks in the fresh winter air.
Christmas day we parked up near the new house and walked to what will be our new local pub which was nice. Everyone was really friendly that we spoke too.
Yesterday we spent the day eating leftovers and walking again. The dog is worn out.
Today has been much the same. We met up with some friends and their dog for a muddy walk around a local country park and then dropped the dog straight in the bath when we got home. He was filthy!
He's now sulking in bed and we are waiting for some more friends who are coming round tonight with a homemade curry.
No rest tomorrow either. We have family round for dinner tomorrow.2 -
