Overpayment made to the mortgage account this morning.

Its a dark wet start to the working week this morning. Feels very gloomy out.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is reheated chicken legs from last nights roast dinner served with rice, corn on the cob and coleslaw.

Tonight's jobs are:

• walking the dog
• weekly shop

So infuriating when people haven't even got the courtesy to let you know they aren't going to follow through with a delivery having promised it.

Complaints went into both the Royal Mail and the Royal Mint (who sent the parcel) yesterday, both very strongly worded. Just waiting for a response back now.

A frosty start to the morning. The dog enjoyed playing on the frosty grass this morning.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is cajun salmon with noodles and stir fried vegetables.

Tonight's jobs are:

• walking the dog
• watering the house plants

Another cold and frosty start to the morning.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is ostrich steak with tortellini and vegetables.

Tonight's jobs are:

• walking the dog
• load of washing
• cleaning the kitchen
• weigh in Wednesday

We have been careful with what we have eaten this week so hoping for a better weigh in Wednesday than last week.

In other news the parcel I waited in for at the weekend seems to be on the move again according to the tracking link so the complaint seems to have done the trick. It will end up at the sorting office because we won't be in to sign for it but at least we know where it is then and can go and pick it up next weekend.

3 pounds off this week which reverses last weeks gain and some more.

Now at my lowest weight and just a pound off target.

I hope so but the time of year is coming up when temptation is never far away
