Our dog is the same short legs and low to the ground. He gets filthy. Hopefully the Mud Daddy will mean we can wash most of it off before he gets back in the car or back in the kitchen depending where we have been.2

My dog isn’t that short but will find mud anywhere. Typical retriever. 😆
Im having a go at a chilli con carne tonight. My dad used to cook an amazing one so giving that a go. Will at least give me something to do for some time this weekend.3 -
Chilli sounds good. 🙂2

I feel your pain with the car. I spent all yesterday worrying as dh took the car for mot. As it is 22years old it is always worrying but it passed with only 1 advisory for front brake pads.
With regard to dirty dogs the worst one we have is our border Collie as he runs a lot and has very long hair which seems to attract the mud. The jack gets wet underneath as she is short but at 14 she doesn't do a lot of running. Any mud generally gets wiped off on my trousers when she sits on my knee.2 -
The dogs new jacket arrived this morning. Can't decide if he likes it or not.
The Mud Daddy worked well. There is enough capacity to clean the dog and our boots with loads to spare.

My dog doesn’t like wearing her jacket. She knows if it gets put on it means she’s not going for a ball throw on the park. Might have to investigate the Mud Daddy, I’ve always got a muddy dog/boots.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

My family would go mad if we didn’t have a roast on a Sunday. Whilst the joints of beef were on offer leading upto Xmas in the supermarkets I stocked up on them. In this cold weather a roast is what’s needed.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002
