Weigh in Wednesday was a mixed bag today. Other half lost a quarter pound and I put a quarter pound on.
Not overly concerned it could have been a lot worse!0 -
That’s why we stopped having takeaways, we were disappointed more often than not. Quarter of a pound on is nothing probably water retention. You’ve done really well since you started your weight loss journey.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Friday again.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is southern fried chicken with chips and coleslaw.
No jobs to do tonight other than walking the dog. A quiet night in on the sofa with a couple of beers is in store. Looking forward too it actually. Not done that for a little while.0 -
It has been a busy day so far today. The dog has been to the groomers and we have been to the farm shop to pick up the half a pig and 5kg of mince we ordered the other week.
The freezers are now full again!
We are now at the supermarket for a beer stock up then it will be home for half an hour before we are back out again visiting dad's.
Will be ready for a beer and a home cooked curry later that is for sure!0 -
If you're having curry home cooked is the only way imo. We definitely avoid the Indian takeaways - they are never very nice I find and not good value for money. The last time we had one it cost c£40 I think and we were similarly disappointed. They put god knows what in it and the meat is always a bit odd I find. There's quite a few Indian restaurants in town that are about £40-£50 a head the last time I looked, I just don't think that's good value tbh. My sister's husband !!!!!! loves an Indian restaurant and I always cop for the bill so we wind up having to be ripped off every time they come up here or we go there. If you can't tell the places !!!!!! annoy me ha.1

We ended up eating the curry quite late last night. We walked up the road to see the latest of the abnormal loads leaving Worksop. Quite an impressive sight and a huge logistical feat.
Not much going on today. We have cleaned out the van and fixed the van fridge. No prizes for guessing what was wrong here!
We had scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast earlier and dinner later is pulled pork with some roasties and greens.
Will take the dog out for another walk in a little while. He is shattered today.
Just got the van bedding in the wash. Will put that back on the van in a little while. Got another load of bedding and towels to do then I will chuck the van mats in for a quick freshen up. That's the inside of the van sorted for going away then. Just need to wash the outside next weekend.1 -
It’s fascinating watching abnormal loads. It’s something you don’t think about until you see them in action. Glad you got the fridge fixed ready for your next adventure.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Think we will go and see it further down the route next time at one of the tighter roundabouts.
