Have a good time on holiday. 🙂

If I was to have a driving holiday in Scotland probably would be planned in advance and when I've got an f-type replacement. Motorhome does definitely sound cool but some of the roads up there feel like I'd be missing out in anything but a good GT / sports car?
  • We have said we are going to get the Sierra back on the road next spring. Might use it to go up to Scotland when we go to see the other halfs mum next year.

Brilliant stuff what model Sierra is it? Can remember the old xr4i back in the day. My dad was the typical pub landlord had a 3.0 Capri, I loved that car - swapped it for a knackered Bentley T lol.

Enjoy your holiday on the boat.

    It is an XR4i.
  • Got to the boat during a howling gale and heavy rain. Loaded up, cracked open a beer and set sail. Didn't go far now sat with a beer and some tunes chilling out.
  • The first day of our holiday proper today. It will be a no spend day as there won't be anywhere to spend anything :)

It is due to be an odd kind of day. A split shift almost as we will have an hours cruise this morning to the first lock but then will be waiting for the tide to get out onto the river which will be late afternoon.

Breakfast will be a bacon and black pudding butty, lunch will be some chilli bean soup and then we have a cheeseburger for dinner. Not an exciting dinner but we can have it on the go before we get to our destination. We are meeting up with friends tonight and if we don't eat before we start drinking we won't eat at all!
  • Enjoy the holiday :)

  • We had a lovely day yesterday and ended up meeting up with friends we had not seen for a long time.

Today probably won't be a no spend day but we are having breakfast, lunch and dinner from stores. Full English for breakfast and some sirloin steak and all the trimmings for dinner.
