Stage 1 of our debt free journey has been reached today. Debt 1 is now paid off. Next month I will add the extra £50 per month to credit card 3 repayment. It feels good to get rid of this account as it has been hanging around for years.
£50 has gone in the ISA and I have rounded the bank balance with the pennies going into the savings account.
Today we are off cruising again so it will be a low spend day. We just need to pick something up for dinner later.4 -
Well done on getting rid of debt 1. Another cruising day today so low or no spend day.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Toasted sandwiches for breakfast and beef Thai curry with noodles for dinner.
The weather looks rubbish for tomorrow so we have a rather spendy pub day planned.4 -
Amazing news @RelievedSheff smashing it and enjoying life on your own boat at the same time? 😀
Meant to be awful weather here too tomorrow but no pub planned think I may have missed a trick there...4 -
Got a bit of a problem with the boat but nothing major, just a pump that has broken and needs replacing. So tomorrow we need to head to a marina to source the part. Luckily the other half will be able to fit it which will keep the cost down but it will still be a £200 repair!
Today we are having a lazy day. No point rushing around today.
Breakfast is a bacon butty from stores but we are eating in the pub this evening.
A couple of spendy days in store.4 -
We are off cruising today. Breakfast from stores, egg and soldiers today but we need to get something from the shop for dinner later. Not sure what yet.
It will be a spendy day today as we will, hopefully be buying the new pump.4
