That credit card 1 is almost paid off now then which is great. Enjoy pizza tonight.
Yes it will be paid off 6th December. Feels good to be finally getting somewhere with the repayments.
Presumably then the £150 you are paying towards Credit card 1 will go to Credit Card 2? The one charging 30% interest? Or have you changed the plan from the one you put up a few weeks ago?

Yes the £150 is then going towards credit card 2 making the payment on that £230 per month which will see that card paid off in a couple of months.

Back to the marina today. We have decided to base ourselves there for a couple of days and make some use of the berth we pay for but rarely stay on overnight!

It won't be a no spend day as we need to pick something up for dinner tonight but it should be a low spend day. We have the stuff in for a full English for breakfast.

The rain overnight has started the water levels on the rise here so before long we will be setting off before they shut the floodgates on the marina with us the wrong side🤔

We are going to have a run in the car to the coast today to let the dog let off some steam on the beach. It looks increasingly likely that our area will be put on some sort of lockdown next week with no overnight stays allowed so we are making the most of these last couple of nights away from home.

Bacon butties for breakfast, fish and chips at the coast for lunch and we have pasta with homemade garlic bread for dinner. So not a no spend day but a low spend day.

Rounded the bank balance to the pound but that's it for today.  Still not sure what we will use this savings pot or the money in the ISA for yet.

We have had a lovely day at the coast. The dog is absolutely shattered.

Spent £10 on two fish, chips and peas specials which came with a drink and £1 on parking at the reserve we walked around. So £11 for a great day out that all three of us have really enjoyed.

We are now back at the boat chilling out with a couple of beers. Think it will be an early night tonight we are all tired!

Really enjoyed reading your holiday posts @RelievedSheff thanks for a bit of escapism.

Love a day trip to the coast, fish and chips on the beach. Reminded me it’s been far too long and I should make the effort to take my son to the beach one day.

Last day on the boat today, back home tomorrow. If the restrictions come in as expected this could be our last overnight stay for a while.

We are having a drive out this morning to catch up with some friends but when we get back will be having a cruise to the local village. We fancy one last takeaway tonight probably our last for this month.

Breakfast will be a bacon, black pudding and egg sandwich. At the stage where we are trying to use everything up now before we head home. We hate wasting food.

Go as a whole family the dog included. Make it a proper low spend family day out.

Time to head home today. We have had a great couple of weeks on the boat but time to head back to reality.

We will have a steady cruise back to the marina soon before we pack up. Bacon, black pudding and egg sandwich for breakfast before we go home.

The neighbours put the heating on at home for us yesterday to warm the house through. We really do need to get some Hive or similar installed to make stuff like that easier when we are away on the boat.

We have a home shopping delivery coming between 6 and 7pm so it will be quite a spendy day today on that score but we don't plan any other spends for today. The plan is to just chill out at home before back to work tomorrow.

Sounds like you have had a great holiday. I walked the south west coast path yesterday and walked round or across no less than three harbours. Lots of people in the marinas taking their boats out. Sorry about restrictions in your area. I guess you must be in the North? We seem to be escaping the higher numbers down here in south west.
