Weigh in Wednesday at last has a positive result for me. 2lbs lost this week after three weeks stuck at the same weight.

    Not done anything different!

Not long now until we should both reach our initial goal of losing a stone. We both think we might aim to lose a bit more now.

We both feel much better for it. You dont realise how the weight gradually builds up over time.

It's pay day so that makes it money shuffle day. £100 sent to the Premium Bonds, £200 sent to the savings account and £50 sent to the ISA account this morning.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is bangers and root veg mash with a few greens.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • vacuuming the house
    • must remember to plug in the van

    Doing great Sheff  :)

Just curious, but do you ever feel you're 'doing without' ?

No we never feel like we are doing without. I think we have found a happy medium between paying our debts off in a reasonable time frame, saving at a reasonable rate and enjoying ourselves and getting out and about.

The savings will be taking a bit of a hit later in the year. We are planning to buy a new set of alloy wheels and a full set of tyres for the van in July which wont be cheap. Hoping to get a deal at the van festival we go too  :D
