He will also be annoyed that I have blown the Christmas present budget. But I expect that will be short lived!1 -

Just caught up with your diary, sounds like everything is going really well for you! Always pleased to see how well you’re doing, the balances reducing nicely and the places you visit. The plates made me smile, I have three of them used to put them on when cars reached six months old and the new plate was out suppose it was vanity. Don’t bother now, saw it for what it was, my reasoning that is, rather than a plate which means something to you - I like that it’s a lovely present.2

That was a busy weekend - that first picture of the dog is just brilliant though - great to catch the movement at exactly the right point!
You've also reminded me that I need to nudge MrEH to check what ingredients he needs for our christmas cake so I can add them to the shopping list for gradual buying over the next few weeks - not least as I have a CC coupon for extra points when you buy dried fruit!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Traffic was horrendous again this morning. Only just made it to work on time today and it wasn't for the want of setting off in plenty of time either.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was porridge, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight will be ribeye steaks with chips, onion rings, grilled tomatoes and peppers.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- load of washing

Are the roadworks on the M1 affecting your commute? I went up to Sheffield yesterday and the traffic was quite bad due to the roadworks. I wouldn't have let word get out re the Christmas cakes, made a rod for your own back there. One of my staff is a bit of a baker, like to bring things into the office but only on her terms. I did wonder if you still had the Sierra or not, cars of that era seem to be continually rising in value.
